JPACKS’s overflow filliers are best suited for filling liquids with low to medium viscosity. These fillers are most ideal for filling foamy products at higher speeds. Some example products our overflow filling machinery can fill are sauces, syrups, light gels and shampoos, foamy cleansers and chemicals, water, fruit juice, wine, tea, and other non carbonated aqueous beverages. They are designed to handle all types of rigid plastic, metal, and glass containers. All of our overflow filling machines are based on heavy-duty stainless steel frames with all contact parts made of food grade materials.
What is an Overflow Filler?
An overflow filler is a unique piece of packaging equipment that fills every bottle to the same level, regardless of the interior volume of the individual containers. Rather than filling by volume or weight, the overflow filler uses a nozzle that, once liquid reaches a certain level in the container, overflows product back into a holding tank. By creating a seal over the bottle and allowing product to recirculate, the overflow filler creates a unique fill to level system.
The obvious advantage of the fill-to-level system is a machine that allows products packaged in clear containers to have a consistent appearance when on the shelf. Items such as bottled water, distilled spirits, window cleaners and more, benefit in appearance and build consumer trust when each container appears filled to the same level with the same amount of product. In addition, the overflow filler is a great way to consistently and reliably fill products that foam. As products - think soap - foam in the bottle during the fill, the overflow basically allows liquid to continue to flow into, and overflow out of, the bottle until the foam is eliminated.

Automatic Overflow Filler for Corrosive Products is engineered to fill products like acid solutions, etching chemicals, lime and calcium removers, pH lowering liquids, vinegar, citric concentrates, bleaches, brine solutions and more. The entire fluid path resists corrosion, from the pump to the check value. Built on a heavy duty, welded PP frame and mounted on four heavy duty leveling legs, this Filler offers superb flexibility with touch-screen PLC controls and adjustable nozzle stroke and nozzle spacing. The Corrosive Overflow Filler is available with one to sixteen heads and, like any of our machines, can be designed for exterior corrosion resistance in environments that can shorten equipment life.
